How to program a slump or tack or full fuse glass program into my 3-Key Bartlett Control or One-Touch Control?

This program is fine for slumping, tack fusing, or full fusing.  Just substitute different top temperatures when programming. The step in the programming marked with a "*" at the end of it is the one to change.

For slumping, use 1220 (Fahrenheit)

For tack fusing use, 1350

For full fusing use, 1480

You may have to adjust these temps a little higher or lower depending on your tests.

Additionally the 10 minute hold time at the highest temp may need to be adjusted longer or shorter as well. This hold time is the number entered in the next step after the step with the "*" on it.

To enter this program do the following:

Set the toggle switch for the kiln to ON, look for it to say IDLE on the display.

Press ENTER if it does not say IDLE after 5 seconds. Look for "IDLE" to appear along with the temp reading.

Here is what you do:

  1. Press ENTER
  2. Press UP/DOWN until it says USER 4
  3. Press ENTER
  4. Press UP/DOWN until it says 00.00
  5. Press ENTER
  6. Press UP/DOWN until it says 0008
  7. Press ENTER
  8. Press UP/DOWN until it says 0500
  9. Press ENTER
  10. Press UP/DOWN until it says 0250
  11. Press ENTER
  12. Press UP/DOWN until it says 00.12
  13. Press ENTER
  14. Press UP/DOWN until it says 0500
  15. Press ENTER
  16. Press UP/DOWN until it says 0500
  17. Press ENTER
  18. Press UP/DOWN until it says 00.12
  19. Press ENTER
  20. Press UP/DOWN until it says 0500
  21. Press ENTER
  22. Press UP/DOWN until it says 0750
  23. Press ENTER
  24. Press UP/DOWN until it says 00.12
  25. Press ENTER
  26. Press UP/DOWN until it says 0600

  57. Press ENTER to begin the program. (Press ENTER one more time to stop the program and go back to IDLE)
  58. This program will always be under USER 4 in your controller now, until you change it.
